Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had RA for nearly all my 67 years and Sjogrens for 30years. I have been told that I have a moderately prolapsed bladder and bowel-? My question is that at any time I can feel painful vaginal lower abdomen pressure, sometimes along with (or does it result in) a UTI. When this happens, it is painful to pee with frequent urgent needing to go. I have tried to approach this with restricting lifting standing walking for lengthy periods of time but nothing really changes the outcome or is a consistent situation with this as a predictable end result. I don't do well with ibuprofen but desperate for relief I tried it and it helps. I've seen my physician more than once (its hard to get an appointment while experiencing this. With this I have had pain in the kidney area usually most painful in the morning. This does wake me up at night. It restricts my activities and keeps me homebound and unable to do everyday tasks like housekeeping. In otherwise I really need to find the cause so I can have a treatment plan. CAN this be caused by my RA? after being checked for prolapse as told here not being that bad I /it was shrugged off and feel I need to try a different approach that would prompt some exploration for the c a use
