I Have Had A PVD Do To A Ball An

I have had a PVD do to a ball an impulsive adolescent kicked in my direction, and it supposedly resolved over time (April to now ) I have had the proper medical appointments and am reassured that there is no retinal tear. Every once in a while I'll get a white line that will flash (not like they did right after trauma) in the left bottom corner. Plenty of floaters and I think it is resolving still. In the meantime is there anything I can do to keep that affected eye from getting tired, achy and dry a little burning? The other eye is covered by a contact lens. The eye that is post PVD is the one I am seeking relief for. I haver tried preservative free Systane eye drops. What else can work? A plain contact lens to act as a barrier? Certain vitamins? A particular over the counter product? Thank you
