I Have Had A Bad Cough For 2 Weeks With

I have had a bad cough for 2 weeks with mucus in my throat near my voice box. My cough causes me to have blackouts. I'm taking codeine cough med and it helps some. I also that meds for asthma, acid re flux and high blood pressure. My concern is the blackouts that can last up to 15 seconds.
