I Have Had A Chronic Cough For Months And Months.

I have had a chronic cough for months and months. Six months ago I developed a bad respiratory infection and was treated with 2 sessions of antibiotics, steroids and shots over a 6 weeks period. Now the chronic cough came back and another infection again treated as above. After treatment my xrays read small paracardiac fat pads and mild medial right middle lobe infiltrate. "acute process suspected". this cough never ever goes away. Any suggestions?
