I Have Had A Chronic Sinus Infection On The Right

I have had a chronic sinus infection on the right side of my nose with swelling and pain down to my mouth. Recently a knot formed on my gums right below the sinus pain. Now it has burst and so draining a while infection from the swelled area. What could this be?
