I Have Had A Cold For 2 Going On 3

I have had a cold for 2 going on 3 days. Symptoms include sore throat, runny nose, congestion, coughing, and body aches. Now this morning while I was coughing I started feeling pain in my left side in the upper rib area. Every time I cough it feels like something is gonna pop in my side. Can you tell me what is going on with me?
