I Have Had A Cold Since The End Of March.

I have had a cold since the end of March. I went to my dr on April 6 and he gave me an inhaler because I had chest congestion. I have drainage in my throat that keeps making me cough up mucus and sometimes vomit from coughing so much. I have some nasal congestion but not a lot. When I lay down I feel pressure and throbbing in my ears. It is not "painful" just uncomfortable. Could it just be pressure or an ear infection?
