I Have Had A Cough For A Couple Weeks Now.

I have had a cough for a couple weeks now. It started out as a sore throat, moved to nasal congestion then down to my chest. All mucus is clear, not yellow or green so I guess that's good. The cough is coming from my chest and sorta rattles and I'm wheezing a little. Should I just let this go or should I see a doctor?
