I Have Had A Cough From A Bad Flu For

I have had a cough from a bad flu for about 5 weeks. I have asthma which hasn't helped. Now I have an intense pain under my ribs below my chest. It's across but much more intense on my left side. Hurts to move, cough and breathe at this point. Is there anything I can do or is it just a bare with it until it goes away.
