I Have Had A Fusion From C3 To 6 The

I have had a fusion from c3 to 6 the levels above and below are going but I don't want the surgery. They say rod with screws from the base of my skull to lumbar. So e very six months I get nerves burned at 2- 3 as that is the worst and then every six months I receive steroid shots so eve ry three months s omethng is being done. Plus med. I am 58. Very active. Could this cause ears plugging. Are there other treatments or surgeries
