Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a headache for 6 weeks now. My C5,6,7 have spurs and I've taken my 2nd steriod injection today but my headache persists. My MRI on 10/30 says 1. Scattered subcoritcal regions of gliosis on FLARE with no acute component appreciated, likely microvascular disease. 2. Prominent Virchow-Robin spaces suggest some long tract disease and some asymmentry consistent with old insult medial right temporal lobe relative to left as noted above. This may be some volume averaging. correlation recommended. No priors for comparison.
I am 58 years old with no headaches in the past. I have been knocked out 2 or 3 times in football 43 yrs or so ago.
I can't get into see a neurologist for weeks and unless I get some relief will go to the emergency room.
Any suggestions or thoughts? I'd appreciate your input. Thanks,
