I Have Had A Herpes Outbreak In My Inguinal Area

I have had a herpes outbreak in my inguinal area that's not getting better. I do a lot of walking at work and it seems to cause friction and opens the sores that are trying to heal, it's been 2 weeks and it's getting really discouraging, what can I do to help it heal faster.
