I Have Had A Light Period -mostly Spotting For Too

I have had a light period -mostly spotting for too long.
On the 16th October I got brownish spotting which is usual for me before I get my actual period.
On 21st October I got my normal period -with my normal flow which lasted around 4-5 days. On the 26th I started spotting a little (only when I wiped) but not enough to have to wear anything. From the 26th till the 31st October my spotting was once a day and only required me to wear a panty liner. On the night of the 31st -I got a large spot of blood meaning I needed to wear something so from the 31st till today the 7th I have started wearing a pad.
I loose only a small amount of blood a day so it isn't constant flow -just a small amount. Please let me know what is happening.
