I Have Had A Lot Of Blood And Clots In

I have had a lot of blood and clots in my urine for four straight days now. I have to urinate every few hours
and get a burning sensation when I do. I went to a urologist yesterday for an exam and he said he thought I had a traumatic injury to my prostate. Today I had blood drawn for lab work and a CT Scan is being scheduled this week. My doc can not perform a Cystoscopy for three weeks. I am worried about the prolonged bleeding and slow testing process to determine the cause of the bleeding. If the bleeding does not stop soon on its own and I have to wait a full month for a diagnosis am I facing more potential long term harm by not getting faster treatment and a diagnosis of the cause?
