I Have Had A Lot Of Pain In My Lower

I have had a lot of pain in my lower back and I went to the dr and he gave me Meloxicam 15mg. I have been taking this for 3 days. Today, I woke up to sharp pains in my lower abdomen. I don't know if this is related or not but I'm not sure what I can do to stop the pain. any help will be great!!
