I Have Had A Lower Back Fusion Seven Years Ago

I have had a lower back fusion seven years ago with hardware and see a orth pain management doc for it. I woke up 14 days ago with pain in spine shoulder blade unnerved arm pit radiates down my left arm into two fingers. Tried massage therapy, iceing the area, went to ortho doc they said I should of went to er or regular physician but decided to treat me ( new pa in office) my regular ortho doc wasn't available on vacation. They gave me a prescription for anti inflammatory and muscle relaxer. Nothing is getting rid of the pain it has been constant 14 days cannot lay on my side or pain is unbearable. Pa said to come back six weeks and then they might refer me to pt. I feel I need a t-scan with contrast since I have rods. The pain burns at spine and cramping pulling feeling at shoulder blade and pain down left arm into fingers. How long should I wait before going back to doc when there's no relief and what diagnosis test do you recommend. Thank you for your reply.
