I Have Had A Minor Cold Over The Last Week

I have had a minor cold over the last week which has since eased. I woke thismorning with stabbing pain in one ear. I believe it could be from build up of fluid at the back of my nose. However, I was to have a blood test today as I have had neutropenia (1.2 & 1.9), now not sure whether I should have the test because of the sore ear.
