I Have Had A Nightmare Condition Since October, After Getting

I have had a nightmare condition since october, After getting sick with a cold and getting cold sores all over the inside of my lips and cheeks,They grew into each other making huge ones that cover my lips, leaving white coverings over my lips. That scab and bleed everynight. This is still going on its January first? Without the condition changing at all? It also leaves my tongue white coated. I am a Diabetic type 1. I have never had cold sores before. Makes it hard to eat because it is very painful. Help.
