I Have Had A Pain In Abdomen, Left Side A

I have had a pain in abdomen, left side a little higher than navel, for several hours.....I have taken one anacin and then a few hours later, one zantac, but it is persisting. I have had an appendectomy and this pain is on the other side more in the middle of my abdomen......
