I Have Had A Pain That Comes And Goes On

I have had a pain that comes and goes on the left and right side of my pelvic area, alternating. I went to the doctor about it and had an ultra sound along with the inner wand and everything was fine with my ovaries and uterus. I did let a doctor know I still had occasional pains and she recommended doing a diary, but I found I wasn't understanding what exactly to write down for detail.(Came up with Diverticulitis but it didn't seem to fully fit my description to my doctor) Anyway I decided not to try keeping track. I've been doing pretty good for a while, but about yesterday on my left side i felt a pain come and go which felt like maybe a nerve was making it feel like i was being pricked. Later on I had a bowel movement and when I finished it hurt and even if I bore down. I emptied my bowel again early today and it did it again but it felt like the pain was also in the center of my pelvic area. I know there are lots of nerves and muscles sharing organs down there. I will be seeing my doctor soon but wondered if anyone else may have some opinions. By the way, if this is intestinal I havent seen any bleeding or unusual things when I have bowel movements. Thanks!
