I Have Had A Painful Ankle For 3 Months Along

I have had a painful ankle for 3 months along with sciatica, have had one steroid injection, still have ankle pain and weakness on that leg, swelling by the end of the day and have fallen three times since spring. Foot doctor three weeks ago xrayed my ankle and said it was inflammation. After a fall at church this evening the nurse (er nurse) did not agree with my diagnosis. She said my
doctor should have wrapped my whole lower leg not just my ankle. I don't know what to do.
