I Have Had A Persistent Dry Cough For 10 Days

I have had a persistent dry cough for 10 days now. I was prescribed guaiatussin ac100-10mg along with Flonase to alleviate the PND irritation. My doctor does not believe it's the flu and my lungs are clear. It stems from my throat. The cough persists no matter what I do.
