I Have Had A Pretty Bad Cold For The Last

I have had a pretty bad cold for the last few days, and have practically been living off cough drops and alka seltzer along with tons of tissues. In the last hour, my nasal mucus has turned a redish pink and looks bloody. I'm wondering if something is wrong, or is it just nasal irritation?
