I Have Had A Severe Throat For 2 Years Along

I have had a severe throat for 2 years along with trouble swallowing and my neck feels swollen. I had my thryoid checked, it's normal, had my throat checked a year ago and nothing was found. I do smoke menthol cigarettes but only a few a day, not on a daily basis. I feel so exhausted, constantly have a low grade fever and always have a severe sore throat, along with feeling like my neck is being squeezed! Trouble swallowing, eating, it's terrible. Please help, I don't know what else to do.
