I Have Had A Sharp But Tolerable Pain Just In

I have had a sharp but tolerable pain just in line with my left eye in the forward part of my left temple. It is about one square inch in 'area'. Might I have a small blood vessel that burst or something like that? I've had this for three or four days now, and it's no better and no worse. Note also, I had an ear ache (water in my left ear) a couple of days before this started, but that is pretty much cleared up by now. Could that also be related?
