I Have Had A Sinus Infection For Almost 2 Weeks

I have had a sinus infection for almost 2 weeks will back of the throat drainage. I went to the doctors Tuesday for swollen tonsils and 2 pus pockets. Now I have several pockets that cover just on one side almost my entire tonsil. And they are starting to move to the other one. My GP gave me anoxycilin.
