I Have Had A Sinus Infecton For 1 1/2 Month

I have had a sinus infecton for 1 1/2 month and its getting better but I still have clogged ears and ringing in the ears. Ive been to an ear, nose and throat doctor and he said it was not wax but that it was fluid in the back of the ear drum and that it should dissolve on its own. it has been two weeks since I saw that doctor. How long will it take to go away?
