I Have Had A Skin Cancer Mole Taken Off Of

I have had a skin cancer mole taken off of my face--I can't remember what kind the Dr. told me it was ( but not Melenoma) can't spell it sorry. some things happened in my life that kept me from going to have it taken care of for about a month now. It now is infected & will bleed with puss so its infected I think. It has a kind of scab on it. what is happening? I'm 77 & have had other cancers removed--but this one scares me.
