I Have Had A Small Lump On My Neck For

I have had a small lump on my neck for years now but it feels like it got a little bigger which is causing some slight pain and it has a smell to it that I notice when I touched it, you can not smell it unless u get close to me...just wonder if u have kinda of an idea what it could be?
