I Have Had A Sore Throat For About 3 Weeks.

I have had a sore throat for about 3 weeks. Four days ago, I went to Urgent Care. They said I had a slight fever. They did a throat culture and sent it to the lab. I was given an antibiotic to take as a "precautionary measure." I've had no change in my symptoms. Also, there has been no word from the lab. What do you suggest I do? Thank-you
