I Have Had A Strange Feeling On The Crown Of

I have had a strange feeling on the crown of my head for a year or so now. It is a small spot that it always hot and there is just pressure there. No headaches or severe injuries. It feels really good when I press on it or gently scratch it. Makes my entire body relax. It's worse when I'm stressed. Lately I've noticed the spot is slightly indented (nothing major.) I don't have a doctor so I was wondering if it's something I should go out of my way to check out.
