I Have Had A Swollen Tonsil And Throat On One

I have had a swollen tonsil and throat on one side only for about six months. No pain but difficult to swallow and sometimes to breath. This came about during an yeast bloom but has not gone away. It feels as if something is stuck in my throat. What is causing this ?
