I Have Had A Varicocele Embolism For My Varicocele. This

I have had a varicocele embolism for my varicocele. This was about a year ago. Anyways after I do some sit ups I feel brief pain in that area. Am I doing any harm by doing sit ups or is it just pain because I have a varicocele. I'm asking because I want to join the military and as you know they do a lot of sit ups
