I Have Had A Very Bad Cold With A Horrible

I have had a very bad cold with a horrible cough. I have started to feel an area between my vaginal opening and my rectum that when I coughed felt week or pulsing. Over the week it seemed to be getting worse. I used a mirror to check and see if there was a tear. Etc there and when I pushed in on the sore area, a vaginal discharge came out (whitish green colour) followed by some bright red blood ( odour but not real bad). After this happened I no longer feel pressure there when I cough. Could this have been some sort of abscess that burst and now gives me relief? I will make an appoint,want with my doctor ASAP.
