I Have Had A Yeast Infection Which Was Treated But

I have had a yeast infection which was treated but i had itching that did not subside for a very long time. I ignored it for very long and went to a doctor during routine pap exam. He mentioned that the surrounding area had hardened due to my itching it continuously. prescribed me with a steroid cream and asked me to soak in epsom salt. did it for few months.. got a biopsy done on the skin too.. nothing abnormal came out. Was given a steroid cream again and the itch still persists when I stop the cream. What should I do? the itch has spread to my anal area.. while I don't feel the need to itch during the day or in public, I only get the urge at nights.
