I Have Had Acute Bronchititus Since Lst Of Month,tried To

I have had acute bronchititus since lst of month,tried to treat it myself ended up emergency room on 1/14/17 sent home w azithromitcin.still sick.Went to my family dr today he gave me prenisone,and Cheratussin AC syrup w/guaifenesin/codeine phosphate. Also my 10 yr old shih tsu been sick,coughin like crazy. Took to vet ,couldn't afford azithromitcin for him$40. She gave him baby aspirin,l6 ml hydrocodone to take every 8 hrs for SIX days. Charged me $100, diagnosed him as having fleas. Can I give him some of my medicine my dr. prescribed and how much and how often.?????
