I Have Had An Acute Onset Of Vertigo. I Feel

I have had an acute onset of vertigo. I feel very light headed and weak. When I walk I am all over the place. I can't walk in a straight line. I am an insulin dependent diabetic but my sugar is ok. This feeling has lasted all day. I only feel safe when sitting in an arm chair.
I have been sick since the second week of Nov with cold and flu type symptoms. I have been on three _antibiotics.... Z-pack, Z-pack and then Augmentin. And now I am so dizzy and unbalanced. Can you recommend any thing? Thanks, Sheila
