I Have Had An Area On My Thigh That Always

I have had an area on my thigh that always hurts. It is about a couple inches long. When I rub it I can feel a ridge. This pain makes me have to turn over during the night often as it is also on the other thigh as well to a lesser degree. I don't know if related but I have a lot of back and feet pain as well. I'm a male 54 years old otherwise in decent shape.
