I Have Had An Ear Infection For A Week Now

I have had an ear infection for a week now - took antibiotics by mouth and drops in the ear. Now I have facial numbness and it is still blocked and have lots of pressure in that ear. I also have some slight numbness down that side of my body that seems to get worse when my ear hurts more. Should I go to the ER? What should I do?
