I Have Had An Enlarged Lymph Node In My Neck

I have had an enlarged lymph node in my neck for approximately 9 months. I had an ultrasound which appeared normal the size is 19x16x3 mm another smaller one was noted next to it 10x10x3mm. My doctor left it up to me if I want to see a surgeon for a possible biopsy. Not sure what to do.
