I Have Had An Irregular Heartbeat My Entire Life That

I have had an irregular heartbeat my entire life that has been checked out and the doctors say it is not the kind to worry about. Lately, it has been happening often, once a day where it starts up and I feel like I"m going to pass out. I stop what I'm doing and hang onto something because I feel like I might fall and pass out.
I'm wondering if I should go to the doctor.
