I Have Had An Itch On My Back For About

I have had an itch on my back for about 1 yr and it starting to hurt now when I scratch it, I have now sign of a rash,no pimpole, not even a red mark and the itch is always at the same spot. I have been to my family doctor and he said that there is nothing there that it well go away in a couple of days but it has been a year and he says the same thing every time, thank u for ur time
