I Have Had Anal Fissures For 3 Years Following Having

I have had anal fissures for 3 years following having kids and I am finally speaking up again about the issue to my doctor. I have tried many oral stool softeners, topical medication and a modified diet and nothing has shone relief.

I have an apt. in a couple of days with my Family Doctor and he said well you can either have the surgery and risk having incontinence or you can come in and you can cauterize it. I just dont know how comfortable I am with his only giving me 2 options. What do you recommend? What do you think about Direct Current Probe Treatment, Boe Tox Treatment? or any others.
