I Have Had Chronic Pain In My Upper Left Quadrant

I have had chronic pain in my upper left quadrant under my rib area for about 6-9 months . It feels swollen at times there as well. I have some nausea and chronic heartburn and acid reflux for over a year. I often have diarrhea and often have trouble having bowel control in those instances.

Not sure if this is related but i was in a car accident in 2008 and told them to have a follow up ct scan as they thought they saw spots on my spleen in it but I never did the follow up figuring I didn't feel symptoms so it must be ok. I'm concerned as this all seems to be getting worse and wonder what I might be facing here?
