I Have Had Depression Most Of My Adult Life. Medications

I have had depression most of my adult life. Medications aren't helping at all anymore. I've tried most SSRI's. I'm considering alternative therapies, such as magnetic stimulation (I think that's what it's called) or even a brain pacemaker. I'm very desperate to have some relief. Any suggestions?
