I Have Had Diarreah (sp?) For Two Days Which Is

I have had diarreah (sp?) for two days which is greenish in color. I've taken Imodium which usually helps, but not this time. What could be the reason for this. I have been diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis but normally this dissapates sooner than this time after taking the Imodium
