I Have Had Diverticulitis Recently And On Occasions I Still

I have had diverticulitis recently and on occasions I still have flare ups. I know to avoid spicy food. I have two questions:
1. What side of my body should I sleep on?
2. I was thinking about getting a hamburger or cheeseburger for dinner. Should I avoid them and ground beef in general while I have a flare up of diverticulitis?
