I Have Had Dull Aching Right Shoulder Pain For More

I have had dull aching right shoulder pain for more than 3 months movement is limited and reaching behind me is excruciating. Just got MRI results and it says Supraspinatus tendinopathy with partial thickness tear at the attachement. Joint Effusion. Suacromial and subdeltoid bursitis. Osteoarthritis involving the AC joint with bone spurs. There is narrowing of the subacromial space. I have had a steroid injection with no relief. I am on anti inflammatory meds with no marked improvement. So far I have found nothing that helps with the pain. My pain management Dr wants to do physical therapy just wondering what the chances of that working and what would be other options
