I Have Had Ear Discomfort For Almost A Week. Saw

I have had ear discomfort for almost a week. Saw an ENT 2 days ago (due to insurance and referral issues is why it took so long) 4 days prior to that my Primary care DR did a flush. I could hear better after that and a day later my ear closed up and I have been able to hear for 5 days now even though I've been using hydrocortisone drops for 2 days. Should I be concerned? I can't hear ANYTHING out of that ear and the tinnitus is deafing, please help!
