I Have Had Episodes In The Past -- A Couple

I have had episodes in the past -- a couple times a year -- where the vision in one eye only becomes sort of pixilated with blotches of purple and yellow, making everything fuzzy and indistinct. But within 10 minutes it passes. in recent months it has begun to occur more often. Any insights?
